compression for large screen computer art piece?
by marina zurkow on Oct 25, 2008 at 2:12:23 pm

I've am making multi-monitor animated art works, and have run into a compression dilemma.
I am currently working on a 7 minute animated quicktime movie; it plays on two 30" screens at 1600 x 5120 resolution, and is running on a custom PC that can be upgraded (I do not have the specs on the PC).
What do you think the best compression scheme is for efficient smooth playback at 15fps?
I'd been using H264 (I used to use MPEG4) but would really like to know what options I have for high quality and smooth playback.

THANK YOU>>>>

Are you using a special piece of software or hardware to spilt the video across those screens?
