MPEG-2 Muxed

From prior threads/forums, I learned how to make MPEG-2 muxed with Compressor 2 on my MAC. Looks great sounds great on my PC,- but my MAC/QuickTime won't recognize the file type. Anybody know how to fix this without buying or installing some other software?

There is an mpeg playback plugin for QuickTime.

also, there is a free program called mpeg streamclip that will be able to open, play and do other things with your muxed file.
