rmtv14motion blurred video after compression from avid through sorenson to DVD

I am utterly confused now. I have been trying to compress my projects with sorenson from avid to mpeg2 files with exported quicktime reference file from avid. This is the same process that I go through on our older avid set up with no issues, but on the new set up I get blurred motion, and just all around bad looking video when I burn my DVD. Everything appears to be the same on both machines, one does great, the other just doesn't. I have used both Avid DVD and Encore to make my DVDs with the same results. Has anyone ever seen this type of problem before, if so what might be wrong or how could I remedy it? Thanks to anyone who looks at this.

Hi
I used to go exactly through the same process to compress from avid to DVD. I remember that I had to disable "autoremove interlace flickering" (filter settings) everytime I launched Sorenson Squeeze 4: it was always on by default... it took me some time to discover what was creating a blur/progresive look in my dvds.
