How to get the Best compression to Size ratio? (sorenson)

Hi, I have sorenson squeeze. I have to output a music video (DV 16:9) in a format that will play widescreen and without codec issues. Anyone know what is the best way to go? WMV/MOV/MPEG? - Do I use MPEG 1 or 4 etc... I guess what I'd really like to know is what people had the best experience with? (yes I've been reading through the posts but it's hard to boil it all down....)
