Hi everyone,

Codecs are juste messy when you don't know where to look at... But i have a specific question.

How to export from Final Cut Pro WITHOUT any loss?
How to export from After Effects WITHOUT any loss? :D

i heard of the codecs Animation, Prores 422 (and 422HQ)

And also, (sorry for this pletoria of questions)

What codec to use out of FCP or AE to have a 'good' looking video that you can store on your hardrive/show to your clients?

Thank you for reading, i hope you guys can help me out :x

I use Animation quite a bit. 4:4:4, lossless, holds an alpha channel. Here's a nice site for some examples and explanations of codecs: http://codecs.onerivermedia.com/
