Hello-

Can anybody point me to the specifications for creating DPX log sequences for film-outs for a 1.85 aspect ratio? Do I work in 1998x1080 resolution in After Effects in 16bit? What settings do I use for the export to create a log file?

I don't know about the log specifications -- strictly a 16-bit RGB or YUV guy.

But since you can make an AE comp in any horizontal & vertical dimension you want, I'd certainly, among other things, ask the client for some specs on that issue. You won't look unknowledgeable, you'll look like you're crossing the t's, dotting the i's, and getting it right the first time.

I have asked but I am waiting on the specifics. I just wanted to do some research ahead of time. The sooner I can get started the better.

Thanks!
