Raining in text effect adjustment?
by Alan Howard on Nov 6, 2009 at 9:12:38 pm

Hi,
I need to produce a "raining in" text effect similar to the preset, but the text needs to resolve on a piece of paper that is lying on a table in the foreground of a shot.. is it possible to keep the effect of raining in from the top of the frame and resolving onto a 3d shape like a paper?

any clues ?

thanks in advance........

Alan

Might be easier to do it reverse using Shatter.

Sounds like you want rigid body dynamic simulation
which would be a 3d project. There might be
a fake way to do it but you would have to hand animate
the letters as 3d layers or each one would be a shatter
layer animated. -K

Reality? What did you make it?
