After Effects CS3 multiprocessor render hangs
by Oliver Schwank on Nov 6, 2009 at 9:03:57 pm

Hi,

i have a Mac Pro PowerPC G5 System with 8 gb ram. osx 10.5.8.
the renderer aeselflink (x4), so called in the activity monitor, always hangs and appears red with comment "not responding". Any Ideas. i also tried gridiron nucleo pro 2.0.2 with "aerendercore" for multiprocessors.
the same problem. When i use the after effects renderer after effects wont shut down until i kill the aeselflink processes via acitivity monitor.

the are no error messages. Does anybody know what to do? RAM seems to be ok as well.

Thanks, ollie
