RGB to CMYK in AE?

Hello, I am working on a class project and I made a few images in AE and exported as a JPEG and PSD frame. I am kind of disapointed in the conversion from RGB to CMYK from AE to AI, and I was wondering if there was a way to change the color settings in AE, either on the colorama effect or somewhere in the render queue. I am sure this has been a problem for someone at some point so if anyone has any insight on this rather annoying issue it would be great. Thanks!

AE's the wrong application. Don't use it. AE only knows about RGB -- CMYK doesn't exist in AE-Land, so you'll be MUCH better off in Illustrator or Photoshop.

Thats too bad :( It is not nearly as easy to do quick synthetic elements such as particle generated smoke, powerfully recolored fractal noise, etc in PS or AI. Ah well, thanks Dave.

CMYK is strictly print (ink). Why not create your effect in AE with the Particles... Export a single frame or frame sequence... then convert that to CMYK?
