AE don't import .mov files! HELP!

Hi!
I have bought a new computer (vista) and it works great! but! when i start my Adobe Affter Effects CS3 and go to File>Import>File... and select a .mov file it said like this:
After Effects error: Can't import file "file_name.mov": unsupported
filetype or extension
(0::1)
Pleas help me! realy whant to do movies!

As Xinlai suggests, QuickTime must be installed. This is the default on Mac OS, but Windows users must install the free QuickTime Player separately.

Yes i have QT installed! the newest verision. but i have a old windows exp and a old quiktime on it and there it works! i maby need a older QT verision?
