Hi,
I'm looking for a way to import PPM image sequences in After Effects.
I have a lot of those sequences which I would need to transcode to tiffs, which takes a lot of time...

Sorry to have misunderstood, but are you trying to use After Effects to make a TIFF sequence, or to avoid having to make one?
I don't believe AE reads PPM files, but Photoshop does; you could use Photoshop's Image Processor script to batch convert them. GraphicConverter is another option which might be a bit faster, if you are Mac-based.

I'm trying to avoid having to make tiff sequences. I'm on PC for this, so I have irfanview to convert to tiff. It's got a pretty smart batch converter so I can run it overnight.
I thought maybe there was a plugin for this or something I was overlooking.
