stroke effect difficulties
by Rikard Lassenius on Sep 30, 2009 at 11:14:42 am

hi, i've been working on a comp with a lot of stuff being drawn in a 3D space using the stroke effect. just now, i've noticed that there are some horisontal lines in the preview (and renders), check out the screen shot.

i'm running the latest ae on a macpro with 9gigs of ram.

perhaps those are your masks? 9 gigs of RAM sounds wrong to me. Shouldn't RAM be installed in matched pairs?

I'm only half the thing I say I am, the other half are me.

thanks, but no. allthough, realized that turning the "cast shadows option" to off, solved that problem. but i like those shadows...

and there used to be smaller RAMs than 1gig in the good old days...
