importing video files

	importing video files by John Hartman on Aug 14, 2009 at 11:46:39 pm Just bought a "used" AE 6.5 for Windows standard software. Am attempting to import video files from my camera/hard drive. Camera footage is in the .MOV file format name. The AE 6.5 HELP says that 6.5 supports .mov Is .mov different than .MOV ? AE 6.5 will NOT import these files, but my AE Version 4 will. 	Re: importing video files by Barend Onneweer on Aug 15, 2009 at 8:11:35 am Is your AE 4 on the same machine? It sounds like a missing codec. QuickTime is a wrapper (.mov) that can use a wide variety of codecs, not all of them standard, or even crossplatform.
