Preview at 1/8 or 1/16 resolution?
by Mark Walczak on Aug 12, 2009 at 1:41:20 pm

Hey everyone,

So, I am very accustomed to using the full/half/third/quarter resolutions to preview my comps while working on them. For full-HD projects, though, I was wondering if there was a way to add a custom resolution setting of something lower than 1/4 for speedier previews - thoughts?

I have CS3, and will be upgrading to CS4 soon.

Thanks in advance!

Yeah, in the drop down menu at the bottom of the composition window where you choose the resolution there is a custom option. You can change this to 8, 16, whatever you want basically.
