Strange occurrence with lights and Posterisation
by adam taylor on Jul 2, 2009 at 2:22:28 pm

I have applied Posterisation to 6 layers of animation, via an Adjustment layer. They are all 3d layers with a camera move applied. Then I have pre-comped these 6 layers and the adjustment layer.

In the main comp, I have the camera the pre-comped layers and two lights. Collapse Transformations is on to preserve 3d layer positioning.

The odd problem is that the lights are being posterised even though the effect is only applied to an adjustment layer contained within the pre-comp, and lower down in the layer stack.

Can anyone explain whats going on?

thanks
Adam
