Mask that follows an edge

Hi, I'm trying to mask out the lenses of a man's sunglasses. I have duplicated the footage layer twice (once for each lens) and darkened the masks so you can't see the cameraman who is refelcted in the original lenses.
The problem: the man moves his head around a lot so I have to keyframe the masks every one or two frames. The glasses frames are much lighter than the lenses so there is a distinct border there. Is there a way to glue the keyframes to this border so that they follow the movement automatically?
Thank you for any advice.

That's a real problem.
If you have AE9, you COULD try using Mocha... but the tracking procecures for curved surfaces are far different than tracking planes, which Mocha does very well. I don't suppose you have an extra 3-4 days to devote to learning more advanced training in Mocha.
If not, I'm afraid you're stuck with Rotoscoping, the name for the technique you're currently using.
You could relieve the hard edge on your masks by feathering the masks by s few pixels.
