Export from AE for the web (via Flash)
by Sanjay Chalisey on Jun 16, 2009 at 11:57:10 am

We have produced a sequence in After Effects (which has audio).

Would very much appreciate guidance on the best way to output from AE into a Flash animation suitable for the web (ensuring lowest file size whilst maintaining best quality).

For example, our sequence is 30 seconds in duration and by applying a render quality setting in AE (for Flash output to 500kbps) results in a 2MB SWF movie (via Adobe Flash) but quality isn't that great. We were hoping to get something along the lines of 1MB or less. Does this sound realistic?

Incidentally, all the images on this particular project are comprised of vector files and a single mp3 audio layer.

Thanks very much in advance.
