 | The Flock of Birds Part-1 Replication
by Joel Evans on Jun 3, 2009 at 9:11:08 pm |
After watching the tutorial numerous times, I decided to give this one a try.
I am stuck getting the wing to rotate properly. I can move the anchor
point but when I use the rotation tool I can rotate but when I start changing the values...45 degrees, 135 degrees, the wing moves back towards the tail.
I am using AE CS4.
Has anyone tried to replicate this?
Thank you in advance for any help given.

If you're fooling with 3D layers it makes a big difference WHEN you adjust the anchor point, and which of the three 3D views you're using.
So do yourself a favor. Do it the no-brainer way. Reset the layer, double-click on the layer to open the layer window. At the bottom, select Anchor Point Path from the drop-down menu. Move the Anchor point & close the window.
Now you can move the layer in 3D space and know the anchor point is right where it's supposed to be.

Thank you for taking the time to reply.
Hopefully, I will get a chance to try it out tomorrow.
