Final Cut 21MB AppleProRes renders 6 times larger in After Effects!

I've read much about expecting huge files from the AE renders of ProRes/HDV formatted files but six times bigger than the source?
Is it to be expected that when I import a 21MB Apple ProRes 244(HQ) clip provided by my partner with a Mac and Final Cut into my Windows After Effects that the file size when rendered Animation/lossless with no edits is six times larger than when imported?
The guy has sent me these clips, into which I have compd some CG elements. Everything's great until I see the massive file sizes after rendering.
Am I missing something? Does it even make sense for a FCP user to send Apple ProRes 244(HQ) clips to a Window's AE guy?
The details....
Import footage received from Mac user (shot in HDV 24p 1920x1080) and presumably edited and exported with FCP.
Format: Apple ProRes 422 (HQ), 1920 x 1080, Millions
FPS 23.98
Data size: 20.96MB
Data rate: 150.63 mbits/sec
Duration 1.17
Making no changes, just loading it into AE on my Windows box and the rendering it lossless as follows...
Quicktime
Format: Animation, 1920 x 1080, Millions
Playing and Movie FPS: 23.98
Data Size: 117.99MB
Data rate 847.57 mbits/sec
Duration: 1.17

Yes, it is. My only advice is to get used to it.

Thanks Dave.
I had read your other resoponses on the subject and while I saw plenty indicating that Windows AE Animation compression will definitely create much bigger files from their ProRes422 source, I missed any specific ratios like "6 times larger!".
So when I get these files back to my partner using ProRess422, I guess he'll need to compress with ProRes422 to view these massive data rate files and of course to edit/comp in FCP?
...all before the final render for his webisode. :)

If you DON'T have Final Cut pro on your machine, I don't think you can render using ProRes. Give it a try: if you can, you can render is ProRes so your partner doesn't have to, or you can maximize the quality out of your machine by rendering Animation at 100%.
It's your choice... but a 140MB file size isn't bad at all.
