Mov Files Not Compatible or What???

i Have After Effects CS3 and when i try to put a Mov file i just crashes i put some pic in here

That first picture is the the file i want to upload

it an Videocpilot production!

then look at this one

What is happening i Have the new version of quiktime i just prefere having my deafult VLC Player not quiktime, ok?

I need your help!!!

-Uninstall Quicktime
-Uninstall VLC-player !!
-Clean your registry (with something like CCleaner)
-Install Quicktime again

try to open your file in AE again, and post back.
Quicktime PNG files might be too hard to decode in VLC.
