Need some creative help
by Graham Cornell on Oct 30, 2008 at 12:44:00 am

I am finishing up a new short and at the end the "bad" guy is down on his knees and about to die. I show about 4 shots of the good guys walking up to him and it fades up and down while you hear him Inhale and Exhale.

Does anyone have any good ideas oh what I can do to the shot to make it feel more like he is injured. I was thinking about darkening the edges but don't know what would be the best/coolest way to do that. Is there a way to make the edge "burn" into black...just don't want it to fade to black around the edges...want a cooler effect.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Graham

play with a mask and roughen edges. Use brainstorm on roughen edges.
