Rendering a vegas lighting effect
by Mark Still on Oct 3, 2008 at 11:37:01 am

Has anyone encountered the following message(After Effects error vegas insufficient free memory) when trying to render a vegas light effect in After Effects?

My system is an Intel dual core XP SP3 PC w/2gigs ram.

Thanks

You mean you are using the Generate>Vegas filter?
Or are you using a preset or project from someone called "Vegas Light"?

Vegas can run into odd issues if you have not carefully designed the contours it attempts to sample.I'd suggest your artwork for the contours is at fault. Try another file, but, no, I have never encountered that error.

"Free memory" in as AE error is completely misleading, heck, ALL AE errors are nonsense.

This is my standard sigfile so do not take it personally: "For crying out loud, read the freakin' manual."
