premiere cs3 to after cs3 problem

Help!!!!
I created a sequence in ppro with some footage (mxf files shot with the HVX200 720pn 50fps). I import it to after effects, BUT when I open the new comp created, the original footage appears in pre-comps, and the time is mixed up (the clips are too short and have blank space between them )I don’t know what to do! I tried using copy-paste / bridge / import but nothing changes.
I'm trying to avoid rendering at this stage....
So-
1.is there a way to disable the pre-comps created from the original footage?
2.why is there a blank space between each clip on the timeline?

Thanks.. :/

Best regards

I think the cause of your problem is the MXF or more precisely the interframe encoding that exist in certain CODECs. AE just doesn't like these.

You can't disable the precomps but you can copy and replace. But if the clip durations are off then its going to be a pointless exercise.

I believe the blank spaces are there due to issues related to interframe compression.

Roland,

P2 MXF is not using intraframe compression, it's i-frame only with constant bit rate.
