Jittery text when importing into avid

When I plot text along a shape or line and animate it, the text looks fine in AE but when I import it into avid the text jitters while the animation is in progress. I know it's a field thing but I've tried all the options that the avid offers (upper, lower) and no difference. I'm thinking it's how I'm exporting out of AE, I'm just creating Quicktimes with the animation codec and an alpha. Any thoughts? Thanks,

If you've tried variations of the field settings then it's possibly due to the animation itself. Try switching on Motion Blur as this normally help to ease stuttering artifacts.
Also, rendering with fields also helps. It's pointless if you render without fields but have the Avid set to interpret fields.

Thanks for responding. I'm having trouble finding anyplace to set the field settings in AE. It seems as if there is every other setting but odd / even field. Can you point me to this?

AE refers to Field Ordering using First/Second conventions. Odd/Even can be ambiguos as some systems start their count at 0 and others at 1. With First/Second, there is no ambuity as to the Field Ordering.
In AE, you'll find this setting in the Render Settings panel.
