Strange behavior importing paths from Illustrator
by Lucia Bastenhof (luluontheroad) on Sep 14, 2008 at 12:22:50 pm

Hi,
I like to import paths from Illustrator to AE, but I'm always facing the same problem : the paths made with the brush tool (and without outlines in Illustrator), when imported in AE become 2 different paths : one for the center (the right one) and another one for the outlines !
Is this normal ? :-)
It's not a big problem when you import just one path, but with a hundred paths, it's just wasted time to delete all the unexpected ones.
I could decompose the path into Illustrator, and then delete the ouline path created : that works, when imported into AE, I just receive the center path. But that's just as long as in AE.

So, would you know how to fix it ? Is there an option elsewhere I need to check ?

Thanks for your help ! :-)
