importing paths from PS?
by malcolm DeSoto (Malcolm Man) on Aug 19, 2008 at 6:00:04 pm

I know how to import paths from Illustrator, but is there a way to import paths from Photoshop?

I've got an illustration made completely of masks/paths in photoshop.

Is there a way to import that information?

As of now, I just auto traced all of the layers and pasted the masks onto solids.

Thanks.

In PS... File > Export > Paths to Illustrator... this saves all Paths to .ai file, then bring those into AE.
