I have a multi Layered project created in Illustrator CS3 and I have right clicked in the layers palette & clicked 'Release to Layers (sequence)' and then opened AE and tried to bring the Ai file in and I want all the layers to be in the time line but when I bring it in its always One Piece. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in Advance.

Hi Nate,
Either you didn't select, drag and drop your sequenced layers on top of your main IL layer or you didn't select the "Composition" or "Composition cropped Layers" option in the Import File window.

Where do I select drag and Drop layers on original IL ? because even when I choose composition or composition cropped when I drag it down into my time line its still just one layer.

BTW. What version of AE and IL are you using?
I am asking because saving a CS3 IL file and opening it in AE 7.0 for instance would not allow you to see more then one layer even when you use the Import As Composition feature.
