I just started working with HD footage in side CS3 from AF to PPro3 when I completed a text effect in AE while using a HD background then I render it (30 sec) it becomes smaller than screen size, what am I doing wrong? Then I Link the AE project into PPro and Let it render from there- same thing. What’s going on? Why is the video shrinking after rendering? I should not have to stretch it out should I?

If you didn't know about 'em already, you need to get to know about Pixel Aspect Ratios. I suspect you simply have to tell Premiere that your rendered AE file is 16x9, and you should then be good to go.

What comp settings are you using? Some of the HD presets use pixel aspect ratios that will result in the render looking squashed horizontally when viewed in square pixels.
