mirroring / kaleidoscope effect like this.. how to ???

Hello
Can anybody tell me how this effect is done??
I can guess there is something to do with kaleidoscop and mirroring but i am having difficulty controlling the number of variations coming out and then keeping them on screen.
The mirror effect that comes with after effects does the trick to some extent that it only allows for one way movement for a single reflection but i want more copies coming out and doing rotations and stuff.
can someone suggest such mirroring plugin or script. i ve a bunch of kaleidoscope plugins (CC kaleida, Sapphire kaleido, Tinder box's kaleid, Omino Kaleidoscope), but i want a mirroring /3d mirroring one.

Hi Umer,
I'm not sure but in reading the recent COW mag on Music Video's, one of the stories referenced a free Kaleidoscope plug-in from Pete Warden.. I wrote it down to go looking for it but haven't had time yet. I'm guessing that would do the trick for you.. I'm sure a simple search either here on the COW or via google will turn up the plug-in..
