I am having huge problems with my final renders in AE. Every single one is coming out at 4:3, rather than 16:9. I have checked, and rechecked my settings over and over, and still the same result. All the footage and comps i'm using and creating are in some form of 16:9 but don't output that way...
I am using the info from andrew kramer's site (http://www.videocopilot.net/blog/?p=18%2520) for reference, but even just to output video, everything outputs to 4:3. How can I fix this??

[Justin Jeffes]"Every single one is coming out at 4:3, rather than 16:9."
That's because some kinds of screen resolution use NON-square pixels. Widescreen DV and HDV does that, as well as some others. The pixels are meant to be displayed as wide & fat, but you're seeing them in a square-pixel display. This is called Pixel Aspect Ratio.
The converse is true, too. Some resolutions like 4x3 720x480 DV and 4x3 720x486 SD will look a little bit too wide when viewed as square pixels. The pixels are intended to be viewed as if they're just a little too skinny.
A Pixel Aspect Ratio of 1=square. Greater than 1=fat. Less than 1=skinny. Capish?
Import the renders into your editing application and look at them there. Don't rely on simple media viewers.
