Lights, Airport Runway lights how to do?
by Angus Ashton on Jul 18, 2008 at 10:49:36 pm

G'day guys im basically just trying to make some realistic looking lights for a night scene, im trying to make lights for a airport runway so they would generally be red green and yellow lights. Does anyone know a good way to do these? i have conbined lens flares with CC Spotlights but i was just wondering if anyone has better more realistic looking approach

thanks

The way you're doing it should work pretty well.. maybe use some fractal noise over the top of the lights in aditive mode and cut into a cone shape...

Other way is to use Trapcode's LUX .. I haven't tried this effect before so I'm just guessing here..
