DVCPRO-HD Issue

Hi, I seem to be having some issues getting some footage from Final Cut to After Effects. I'm editing DVCproHD 720p 24 in Final Cut then I exported a Self-Contained Quicktime movie for use in After Effects. When I import the movie into after effects 7 AE assumes it is a 1280x720 clip (even though its actually 960x720) When I put it into a 1280x720 comp it appears very blocky. I don't have this same issue when using prores422, I would love to stay in DVCPROHD if I can. I was able to take two stills one from each format to demonstrate the problem. These can be found at http://www.spotvault.com/DVCPRO Any help would be greatly appreciated. As far as my individual system is concerned I have duplicated this issue on both a power mac and an intel mac, and have removed all third party quicktime codecs.

this has happened b4. Some options to keep DVCproHD require using the same exact codec for both AE and FCP are Canopus, Mainconcept, Raylight, Cineform. AE and FCP's codecs don't work with each other any more after the update. :(
