Still Frame at end of clip
by Gregory Kuhn on Jul 14, 2008 at 6:18:08 pm

I have a paint splatter in AE. It's a .mov file but I need it to be an infinite still frame on the end. Is there a trick to make this happen in AE. I tried Interpret Footage but can't find an option there.

Thanks!

Enable time remapping. Extend the comp for as long as you need the clip to 'hold'. Copy the last keyframe (of the two) provided by the time remap, and paste it at the end of the newly extended comp. The clip will play, hit the last moving frame, and then hold there as long as you have defined...

Best,
