Trim in z-space (zax)
by matthew rivlin (rivlinm) on Jul 14, 2008 at 6:03:57 pm

I have a zax layer that is spinning in 3d space. I need to trip the rear of its zspace (much like you can in 3d stroke) so the inner object appears to obscure my rotating text. Any advice.

cs3 on osx

If you're trying to use a zax object to obscure text created with the AE text tool, you're in for bad news. Though zax works within AE, it does not exist within AE's 3D universe. You won't be able to have anything created in zax interact with something created with AE, unfortunately.
