Quicktime Alpha channel
by Shane Rielly on Jul 11, 2008 at 11:05:41 am

Hi,

I rendered a .mov file using Blender and set it to use the animation Codec with an alpha channel, but when I import it into AE (CS3) there doesn't seem to be any alpha channel.
I tried toggling the transparency grid on and off and putting a layer below to see if there was in fact transparency but it seems that there isn't.

Can anyone tell me what the problem might be?

Thanks so much!
Shane

Sorry, I figured out what I was doing wrong!

I didn't have the animation Codec setting at "millions of colors +" but instead at "millions of colors" when I rendered in Blender!!
