Motion Blur not working with tiff sequence
by Shane Benson on Jul 9, 2008 at 8:59:46 pm

Hey guys,

Ive rendered out a 10 second animation out of Cinema 4D as a tiff sequence. I imported it into AE CS3 and and enabled motion blur, however there is no motion blur showing up. Is there something else ive missed? Or should I have applied motion blur to the scene in Cinema 4D? Ive even tried CC Force Motion Blur, but that didnt work either. Any ideas?

Thanks
Shane

AE's built-in Motion Blur only affects layers that are actually moving. I'll bet you're not moving the layer, nor do you want to do so. I'd do the motion blur in C4D.

reelsmart motion blur AE plugin will work with non-moving layers. It analyzes the pixels shifting and applies appropiate definable blur.
