Pinch Filter?
by Mike Procyk on Jul 9, 2008 at 3:17:15 pm

Is there something similar to Photoshop's pinch filter? I need to
squeeze the center of a shape, like squeezing a tube into an hourglass.

Is there a simple way to do this? I've done the opposite of this
with the spherize filter.

Thanks,
Mike

Did you check out the effects under AE's Distort category? There's a bunch of 'em there....

Maybe one of those can do it, but I haven't been
able to figure out which one. I've tried a bunch of
them so far.

OK, I found it. The liquify filter has a setting
called pucker that worked.
