particle rendering preview trouble
by Damien Magat on Jul 8, 2008 at 9:24:40 pm

Hello everyone,

I am having problems using particle playground.
I want to explode my layer using the layer exploder.
The problem is it then never ends rendering (even with a quarter resolution preview), the particle number goes to the millions, but never stops.
And so; I can't see anything.

I first thought it was because my layer was to complex (lungs diagram) but even with a solid object it does the same...

If anyone could help me for this I'd be grateful.

Cheers

Damian

You can search here and in the online manual for Particle Playground. it is so absurdly difficult to use that no one uses it enough to know how to deal with questions about it. Not even the adobe, com site for After Effects has much to say except, "Whew, this is really hard!"

Give us a few days for some of the particle wonks to drop by and offer some Playground advice. Meantime, you cna blow up layers much more easily with Shatter and Pixel Polly.

This is my standard sigfile so do not take it personally: "For crying out loud, read the freakin' manual."
