make the cardboard candle giving light

Hi guys;
I have a scene that consists of talents,and carboards(just piece of paper) as decoration. And one of the decoration is lighting candle. Of course it's 2d and as you can imagine just stands there as a decoration. I want the edge of the cardboard, where the light was supposed to be, to give a candle light. And in the scene camera moves , so I guess i also need to track this candle. But the question is, how can I make the light on this cartoon ? Please share your ideas with me. Thanks a lot...
