Importing Troubles
by Jim Ives on Jun 22, 2008 at 3:15:30 am

Hi everyone.
I imported a simple .png file and I add it as a layer and I can't figure out why I cannot see it. The time-line bar for it is all gray.
It's probably simple but what am I doing wrong?

Thanks,
Jim

Are you having this problem with other still images?
Look in preferences and see what the duration for still images is set to.
Can you see the image in the thumbnail in the Project pane?

I figured it out. It was pretty silly. It defaults to bring it in as footage or like a series of stills when you bring in a .png file. All I had to do was bring it in as a single image. Ok sorry for the wasted post that was pretty silly! :-(
