Need a show of hands on who is successfully running Windows Vista 64-bit with Adobe CS3 apps and all their plugins.
Trying to decide if getting Vista is worth it on a new system.
Or, alternatively thinking of getting it shipped with 64-bit Ubuntu installed and just running XP 32-bit in VMWare for all my Windows stuff. With a quad CPU and 8GB of RAM, I figure I can probably run two 32-bit XP virtual machines on the system faster than my current 2.4GHz P4 runs XP.

I use XP64 bit with no problems. I had installed Vista64, but was running into problems with a variety of apps. Didn't know when all the kinks would be ironed out, so formatted and reinstalled XP64 and everything works great. Talked to an adobe guy a couple of weeks ago about when a 64 bit version would debut. He didn't know and didn't think any thing was on the drawing board for CS4 at present.
