Hi everyone .. we just purchased KLF 2.5.2 yesterday and it is crashing all over the place .. We are running it on CS3, and have tried on a G5 and macPro with the same results ... we get an error saying "After Effects cannot invoke the plug-in Knoll Light Factory" ... then it crashes ...
We are applying the plug-in to quite a complicated HD (1920x1080 25fps) composition which also has in it other lens flares, blurs, Magic Bullet Look Suite... we apply the flare to a black solid and then screen it ... although the plug-in doesn't seem to crash if I just apply it to a different composition with just a layer in it ...
does anyone know of conflicts KLF has with other plug-ins? or what could be causing this? I've tried it with GPU on and off ... multiprocessor on and off .. and they all crash ...

Red Giant strikes again. Sloppy code and long dry spells between fixes.
Sorry I don't have a fix but I really doubt there is one. It's why I avoid RG software like it was the plague.

I'm not explicitly having a Knoll crash, but AE is unexpectedly quitting during rendering, and in the "Send to Apple" report, there are a whole bunch of Knoll Lens flare lines near the top of the code. Does this mean my problem is with Knoll?
Also noteworthy, this is only happening in 16 bit.
I'm currently using 2.5.1, hoping that the move to .2 might solve my problems.
