hey guys im having a big problem i cant seem to figure out .
im rendering my project into a quicktime png sequence with audio .
everything goes fine . but the final output file plays back really glitchy and choppy . not smooth like the project plays in ram preview .
this is going to be my demo reel so i wanted good quality but rather smaller size so i can post it online thats why i went with quicktime, png file type . any help would save me .. thanks guys

How large is the file? It's possible that quicktime player can't read the data off your drive fast enough, or your computer's bus isn't fast enough to process all the playback data realtime. If this is the case the problem will go away when you put your reel on DVD or a streamable format.

I would suggest rendering out of AE at the highest quality possible, then do your compression in another piece of sofware. (compressor, sorenson squeeze, visualhub...)

ive tried rendering out to just str8 png sequence . and then mixing my audio into one file and bringing them both into premier
but i was trying to eliminate that extra step .. if any one knows a way to jus mix it down into 1 file with audio in AE that isnt choppy any help would be a life saver

Don't. Take the extra step and do it the right way in Premiere. Of course, you may not really care about how it sounds. Then knock yourself out and do it in AE. And don't use any stinkin' mp3's if you do it in AE.

well png is huge and most hard drive can't play full motion sequences smoothly. You need to compress it to a playable codec. I suggest h.264 or jpeg2000 or animation.
