NOTE: this is meant to be in the final cut pro forum. Apologies.

I'm currently working on a wedding video that is due to be 30 mins long approx. Some of the footage was shot on HDV and some on mini-DV.

Therefore, the settings of these and the dimensions are completely different. I also have footage imported back from After Effects that uses the Animation compressor in Video settings.

For my final sequence to ensure the footage is a good quality as possible, what will I need to put my sequence settings to, considering if I put the compressor to animation to get the best quality for the After FX footage, it won't be correct for the DV footage, and will need rendering, making the output file massive.

What's the best method for me to get this 30 minute video onto DVD at the end of the process. I'm happy to downgrade to 720x576 for the final video size, considering I can't stretch the mini DV footage.
