Issue with depth of feild when layers intersect
by Anthony Dinham on Jun 14, 2008 at 4:07:52 am

Hi all. I'm a big reader of this forum but I dont post much.

Has anyone else had the following problem? Is it a bug? Or am I missing something very obvious?

I'm having a problem where I've got layers intersecting in 3d space, which are out of focus due to depth of feild (DOF), where they meet the DOF seems to not be applied and i see a hard edge appear at the point where they meet.

These interceting layers are pre-comps with continually rasterise turned on. The layers in the pre-comps have continually rasterise turned on also. I'm rendering in Advanced 3D.

I'm using AE CS3.

Can anyone help? Thanks heaps in advance.
