Does Nucleo render outside of comp window?

Does Nucleo render outside of comp window?

I know Nucleo can't see region of interest and renders everything regardless...but what about if I crop my comp? Will it still try to render stuff outside the comp window?

We've done a 5-screen video and just cropped it to only show the middle screen, but it looks like Nucleo is still trying to render everything outside of the comp as it's taking ages!

Anyone know?

Hi Wes.

The comp is 6720 x 784..we are just changing comp size to 1344 x 784 - which cuts it down to the middle screen.

Any ideas?

The comp was 6720x784 and you changed the comp size to 1344x784? Then that smaller size is what is being rendered.

If you nested the 6720x784 comp into a 1344x784 comp, then depending on how you were working the larger size may get rendered for some things.

Then again, it is possible you have off-screen elements that are still getting rendered, so you may want to turn off layers that aren't visible.
