Hi all. Just got my hands on the Master Suite from Adobe. Problem is, when I install AE (I have tried it by itself, with the rest of the software, with only video software)when I first open it, before it even loads, I get the message "Wuicktime is disabled, as no version or Quicktime can be found. I had previously installed Quicktime 6, the tried 7, then tried the Quicktime alternative. Odd thing is, Premiere, Photoshop, and Encore all see it, and another computer I tested it on had no problem detecting it either.
I don't have any idea why this would be happening, but I have been trying for a day to resolve it, and gotten nowhere. What in the world am I doing wrong?
Thanks
Matt

Quicktime 7.4 is notorious for being incompatable with AE.
I don't know how to strip my regisrty, other that to use a 3rd party pulgin, uninstall quicktime, try and clean it, reinstall quicktime 6 and try again. so far that hasn't goetten me far. But I will try again.
