Infinite Repetition Effect

Hey everyone, first post here.
It's a little tricky to explain what I'm trying to do, but I'll do my best. Basically it is to recreate the effect of pointing a video camera at a screen which is simultaneously displaying a live feed from the camera, thus creating an infinite trail of footage repeats. I'm sure a lot of you have done this at some point.
Unfortunately, for the shot I'm trying to do, I can't have a live feed from the camera displayed on the screen, as it is outdoors, nowhere near any power points, and on zero budget. What I wanted to do was 2D track the screen and superimpose my footage on top.
So anyway, what I want to know is if there is a simpler way than just creating compositions within compositions until it gets so small it looks infinite. Because that's what I may have to end up doing.
By the way, I'm using After Effects CS3, can be considered a novice, but I certainly know my way around the program.

Hi Christian,
I'm a novice for sure, but I think that you should be able to corner pin the screen (motion track) then use that to put a copy of the footage layer into. You could offset the time a touch then precomp that and do it again - not sure if that will work..
But also play around with the Echo effect.. If there's movement from frame to frame that may do what you want..
But remember, I'm also a novice.. Just stating a couple of ideas that might hopefully help or spark a thought that will work for you..

Video feedback! That's the term I was looking for...
Thanks people, I'm just about to check out a trial for Image Lounge to see what it can do. I think i can do this effect now. Awesome.
