plugins not showing up??

plugins not showing up??

so i've been looking to get some new plugins but im having trouble getting them to show up.
i downloaded the demo for Digital Anarchy's 3D Assistant and AE doesnt even see them. any suggestions? they are in applications/adobeaftereffectscs3/plug-ins/3dassistant

The site says it works in leopard and cs3.

um. he's on a Mac. There is no C:Program Files*

Even in the demo versions, plugin makers have a wide variety of installation methods, so let's clear up one basic question: did you follow the installation instructions to the letter?

Yeah, it just says to choose the correct install folder which is where they are. I just didnt know if there was some other secret place to have them or a "rescan" for plugins feature or something.

alright guys, im an idiot. the 3d assistant plugs by digital anarchy dont show up anywhere in the effects menus of after effects, only in the "window" menu. weird, but ok. i was searching and looking in the effect drop downs. thanks for the replies
