Losing rim of glasses in chromakey
by Thomas Rupp on May 26, 2008 at 1:33:32 am

I've already posted my troubles with the greens green process generally, but with some work I have an acceptable result. Except when my subject's head moves and the right edge of his glasses is no longer over his face. The top edge of his glasses disappears. There's rim around the lower edge of the lens so that's okay if it drops out, I just need to get a little of the dark rim to remain.

Any ideas? Could I somehow use another layer with just that area, masking out the rest and using a different key for the glasses? I'm open to suggestions.

Thanks!
